Jerome J. Laz Beloved husband of Barbara J. Laz nee McKewen. Devoted son of the late Anna and Bruno Laz. Faithful brother of the late Walter (Marcia) Laz and the late Robert Laz. Cherished brother in law of James (Kathryn) McKewen. Loved uncle of Michael (Suzanne) Laz, Janet Laz, James (Sharon) McKewen, Kelly (Robin) Lima, Kathleen (David) Gentile and Amy (Joseph) Campagna. Fond great uncle of Kaitlyn, Natalie and Connor McKewen; Jonathan and Jacob Lima and Emma Gentile Also survived by many close cousins and his wonderful Friday night group.

Received his Bachelor’s degree from Northeastern Illinois University and earned his Master’s degree from Roosevelt University both in Chicago.
He taught at Everett School and was the principle at Evergreen Academy both in Chicago.
Member of Mt. Prospect Lions Club and Mt. Prospect VFW Post.
Visitation Wednesday 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Rd., at Northwest Hwy., Mt. Prospect. Lying in State Thursday 10:00 AM until Mass 11:00 AM at St. Raymond de Penafort Church, Elmhurst Rd. (Rt83) at Lincoln St., Mt. Prospect. Interment All Saints.
